Unfortunately, no, you would not be considered a first-time homebuyer. Your lender can help you decide which loan program will be best for you.

Hi, unfortunately, you cannot be a first-time homebuyer in this situation.

The county is the entity that puts in the assessed value.

Dear Shantier, Yes, its a rental price not a sale price. Unfortunately our MLS listings default to "standard sale" as a transaction type when a property is not a foreclosure/REO/bank-owned or short sale. It must be a bug that picks up that data on rentals. Foreclosures can be a great buy/investment, but there would never be a 5BR/3.5BA home such as this for $3595.00. There are a couple of homes in Baltimore that are up for auction that have starting bids from $1,000-$5000, but not in Northern Virginia, or DC. :-(
