The bankruptcy should not be a problem at this point. There are not, however, as many 100% loan programs out there. It would all depend on where the house is or what types of incentives there are associated with it.

As an agent here in Birmingham, the first thing I would like for you to have is your pre-approval letter from your lender. I have some great lenders that I work with that would be able to take care of that in minutes. It is not a complicated process at all. The pre-approval letter does several things for you and me. It sets reasonable expectations on what price range we can look at and it is usually a requirement of the seller when we submit an offer on a house. There will be additional documentation needed as you go forward with your loan, such as, pay stubs, tax returns, etc. I hope this helps. I do know of a couple. How much do you want to spend and how much work are you willing to do to improve the property? There is a HUD property in Hoover that requires $100 down but it needs some paint, etc. I don't think it will last long. Are you in Birmingham now?
