My husband found Laurie on the Internet and we called and scheduled an appointment and as soon as we left her office we knew we had found a gem... Laurie helped us make decisions about what we wanted and narrow our search to a specific type of home. We had decided to hold off on our search until we were closer to our lease expiring. We wanted to look at 3 more homes and then we would wait until summer to hit it hard. We looked at the 3 and we fell in love with the house that became our home... Laurie helped us decide on an asking price and we had made the decision to take the risk on everything, including our old place getting leased before our notice was up. Everything has worked in our favor, but nothing happened overnight... We were patient and we have now moved in and everything is in it's place and we LOVING our new place...

I was referred to Laurie from my RE/MAX realtor in California. She contacted me immediately and I was instantly impressed with her professionalism and kindness. As we continued to communicate over the 2-3 months before I arrived in Dayton on a business trip, she got to know my ideas on a suitable home. She was able to work around the limited time I had during the business trip and arrange a few home tours, giving both of us the opportunity to fine tune my home requirements and get a feel for the area. When I returned the following month for my househunting trip, she was able to cull my list to those homes meeting my criteria, even going out with me on the tail end of a major storm to see a home that I was excited about and that I am purchasing. She has recommended a contractor and is staying on top of the situation to ensure the house is ready when I arrive next year. I was so impressed with Laurie from the start that I recommended her to a co-worker who is also transferring to Dayton. We were looking for a building with specific needs for our growing business. Almost everything Laurie did made our experience with her well above and beyond our previous experience. It's impossible to list everything she did, but I will try to fill in the highlights here. First of all, she searched through the house listings personally and only passed on those which she felt we might be interested in, which was a huge timesaver. We wanted to move fast and she was willing to work at our pace, meeting with us on consecutive weeknights and showing us a large number of houses in one evening. Throughout the whole house buying process Laurie showed herself to be a true professional. We never regretted our decision to switch agents. Laurie fully represented us throughout the entire house buying process, and even continued to work with us after closing. In so many instances she went above and beyond in insuring all our needs were met. She communicated frequently and, I will stress this again, always worked on our schedule. We ended up in a gorgeous 80 year old home that needed no improvements or updates. Just today, someone mentioned to me what a money sink it is moving into a new home, but that has not been our experience at all! Everything was ready to go for us from the moment we moved in and I feel this was largely in part because of the leg work Laurie did for us, showing us the highest quality homes in our price range, and working to get the inspections completed after we made an offer. To summarize, everything about the home buying experience with Laurie exceeded our expectations and we would recommend her strongly to anyone buying or selling a home.
