In answer to: What is the price of properties in Virginia Beach?
Hi Ankit, Most sources show that the median price of homes sold year-to-date in Virginia Beach is around $200,000. This is down approximatley 8.8% from last years median sales price of $217,500. Please keep in mind that these statistics measure the median price of homes that sold last year and this year so far, it does not reflect the median value of homes for the entire city. In this market, the smaller and more affordable homes are selling, along with undervalued short-sales and foreclosures. Many owners of larger and more expensive homes have avoided selling in this challenging resale market. Feel free to contact me any time with questions or service requests. I look forward to serving you in this important endeavor. All the best, Joe McAvoy

In answer to: What is the lowest possible credit score I can get financed with making $52K+ a year?
Credit score helps you know if you qualify for a mortgage or not and, depending on the loan type, can determine the interest rate you receive. The mortgage amount you qualify for depend on income, household debt payments, and several other factors. I can recommend a couple experience and reputable loan officers to you if you have additional questions regarding financing. All the best, Joe McAvoy

In answer to: I own 306 Salt marsh Way and object to your advertising price. I have a legitimate replacement appraisal at $1,133,000 & am asking $995,000 for it.
Hi David, I see lots of comments and requests like yours on these online home search sites. These sites love accumulating as much data as they can get on as many homes in America as possible. The more homes and data they have profiled, the more eyeballs they attract, the more market share they capture, the more advertising dollars pour in, the happier their customers, owners, and investors are. Most home sellers love the extra no-cost exposure for their home listing, but want correct and current information. Those not selling can get upset about their home's description made publically available on the web, especially if some information is incorrect. Limited-service real estate firms like the one you selected to list your home usually exclude extra marketing services like manually entering your home's listing on websites like this one, monitoring your home ad's exposure, and making sure all the data is accurate. I wish you the best in the sale of your beautiful home. Feel free to contact me any time with questions or service requests. All the best, Joe McAvoy
