In answer to: How hard is it to find a rental that will allow pets??? We have 3 dogs...not puppies..they are 7, 9, and 12

Hi Anna, Many properties allow pets. With 3 pets, most owners will require a non-refundable pet fee along with your security deposit. I have a rental home in Virginia Beach with owners allowing 3 pets. This home will be available March 1st. Contact me for more information. Best Wishes, Kathy

It is a great time to buy. You can snag a fixer upper in Chesapeake & VA Beach for way below market price, invest some time and money renovating, and end up with a like-new house. Be sure to run the numbers and know the market of the neighborhood you are interested in. You should determine the market value of the home first then subtract any profit desired and repairs/expenses.
