In answer to: How can I obtain more information and pictures about a home I am interested in that is listed on this website.
You can call any realtor and tell them the MLS number listed on the home you are interested in and they can tell you more info. Or you can look underneath the photos and you should see the contact number listed there. I am a Realtor in the Conway area and would be happy to help you! Thanks and Good Luck

In answer to: Are there any wheelchair accessable homes in or around Greenbrier. The inside of the house needs to be accessable as well.
Hi, I do not know of any handicap accessible homes in Greenbrier but there is a home in Searcy right now that is handicap accessible. I would be happy to check for other homes that could be converted to wheelchair accessible if your interested!

In answer to: 32 Whispering Wind, Vilonia, AR... I am interested in this property, as well as others like it. How long would a property like this be on the market?
The homes in Vilonia on Whispering Wind are priced from $102k up to $138k. The typical price in the area is around is between $70-$85 per hsf. I have been showing and listing homes in Vilonia this year and some of them move quickly and others stay on the market for many months. Its all about the location and price. The subdivisioni you are speaking of usually has about 2 or 3 homes for sale in it all the time so you would have a good chance of finding one when you decide to buy. Since Vilonia is a rural area the home sales are a little bit slower than the homes in town (Conway). I listed a home in Vilonia on an acre of land and it sold within the first 3 months on the market. I now have another home in Vilonia priced under $100k that has been on the market for 2 weeks and I am expecting it to sell rather quickly as well. Like I mentioned before, its all about the price! So, if you see a home with a good price tag you can expect that it wont last long! Good Luck Alicia!

In answer to: how can i get more info on these forclosure homes
If you see a forelosed home that you are interested in you can call a local realtor and have them look up the information in the mls for you. Most foreclosures are listed by a realtor and posted in the mls. But, they usually go under contract very quickly so be prepared to schedule a viewing if you find out its still available! You can usually get a good deal buying a forelcosure, I have had several clients who purchased foreclosures that only needed minor cosmetic work. They ended up moving into their home and having immediate equity! Good Luck

In answer to: Who would I look to for information about first time home buyers programs? My bank or my realtor??
I would recommend checking with your Local Lender first. If you use a bank for your checking/savings accounts then start with them. Since they know you on a business level they will be more eager to help you get started. If you dont have a personal bank then I would check around for one that you like, go in and ask to speak with a mortgage officer and explain to them that you are a first time buyer and would like some information. Also be sure to ask if they do their lending "in house" or via "third party". In house lenders are usually faster and easier to work with when it comes to getting approved. If you want to try a different route the call a local Realtor and ask them to refer you to a lender. Realtors usually know which lenders are the easiest to work with and which ones can get the loan prepared and closed quickly! You can also search the HUD website for your state and review the programs they offer first time home buyers. Hope this info helps you!!
