Hello, I am Jill VanDenBerg and I welcome you to Delta County, Colorado. I am a fourth generation native--my ancestors came here in 1894 on my mother's side and in 1912 on my father's side. I love what I do because I don't have to sell Delta County, it sells itself.I have invested in real estate for years, done many land splits, and I KNOW our county! I am also familiar with 1031 Tax deferred exchanges.Let me tell you a little about Delta county!It is a small county on the western slope, 240 miles due west of Denver, 80 miles from Aspen. We have mountains, canyons (The Black Canyon National Park is very close) valleys with orchards and cattle ranches, and some semi arid plateaus. There are all sorts of outdoor activities--gold water fishing, camping, hunting, hiking, skiing, two golf courses, lots of art realted functions, great sight seeing. Small towns such as Delta, Cedaredge, Hotchkiss, Paonia and Crawford, are near by and all are very different from the other. There is some industry and coal mining. It is a great place to live and raise a family--great climate, good schools and friendly folks!
