My Finished Bathroom Remodel

by Christine DemosMarch 21, 2011

Finally, it’s done!! The contractor and sub-contractors worked all weekend long, but it’s finished! It’s been a long process, from making the decision to do a bathroom remodel, picking out the materials, and selecting a contractor, but finally the work is completed. At times it was a headache and the money kept pouring out of us, but the end result was well worth it! Take a look at our finished product:

So onto one of the main things, which is basically what everyone wants to know…how much did we spend?

Tile (including the three last minute trips): $1,270
Vanity: $490
Paint: $50
Toilet: $127
Contractor & team: $3,000
Ended up reusing light fixture & faucet to save money: $0
Total: $4,937

We just made our budget! The results are fantastic and I could not be more pleased. Every time I go by that bathroom I am amazed at how different it looks. It truly adds value to the home and was well worth the time, effort and money spent.

Thank you for joining me along my journey. I hope you are able to do some remodeling projects in your home this year. If so, please feel free to send us photos!
