Once rural town, Frisco has made a 180-degree turn and has joined the ranks of being named among America's fastest growing cities. The city has a population of roughly 150,000 people and is located 25 miles north of the Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport. Frisco has the makings of a family-oriented dream community: low crime rate, well-groomed streets, academically-recognized schools and development projects that have an eye toward creating "social spaces" for residents to interact and build and sense of community. In addition, Frisco boasts of a thriving arts scene shown through its handful of museums and the numerous public art sculptures throughout the city. While Frisco is widely considered a bedroom community to Dallas, the town is far from being a sleepy suburban town with its numerous entertainment venues, including various restaurants, a water park and shopping.
