Jasper is a relatively young town, and more than half of the homes within its boundaries have been built within the past twenty years. On the western side of Jasper are neighborhoods such as Ludville and Cagle that feature mid-size homes alongside some mobile homes in a rural landscape. In the center of Jasper is a more suburban area, with smaller and somewhat older homes being far more common. On the far eastern side of town, there are communities that desire to preserve the Blue Ridge mountain range while also allowing for housing with an upscale, small-town feel. In this area, gated neighborhoods such as Bent Tree, Big Canoe, and the Preserve at Sharp Mountain boast unbelievable views, high-priced homes, and plenty of local acreage with hiking trails, golf courses, waterfalls, lakes, and community clubs galore.

Jasper is a small city located near the top of Georgia that measures only 3 square miles total, and nearly 3,700 people call this small town home. Nicknamed "The First Mountain City," Jasper is a mostly rural city with homes that are diverse in terms of price and size located throughout the area.
