Lehi began as a military and agricultural town, settled by pioneers in the 1850s. There are several historical sites in town, including a section of the Pony Express Trail considered to be the best-preserved segment in existence. Dugout, a station on the Overland Trail, and Indian Ford Park, offer glimpses into the early history of the area. Other popular parks include Norhtlake Park, Olympic Park and the Lehi City Sports Park. Each facility offers many amenities, such as sport courts, fields, trails and pavilions.

Situated between Salt Lake City and Provo, Utah, lies the city of Lehi, known for its roots in history as well as its branches in today's modern world.
