As a matter of fact, more than half of the residents have obtained some type of college education, increasing the overall number of job opportunities in and around the area. Named for the original settlers of the land, Los Lunas, New Mexico, is located in Valencia County and has a population of about 10,000 people. Often recognized for its prominent Spanish ancestry, this tight-knit community is generally more affordable as well, and consists of both rural and suburban neighborhoods. Homebuyers can expect to find an abundance of manufactured housing, along with brand new single-family homes, with most properties constructed well after 1970.
