In 2010 Rancho Cordova won the All-America City Award, and you can understand why due to its many amenities, including easy transportation to Sacramento and great recreational options. The Sacramento Regional Transit has multiple bus lines and the light rail line that run through Rancho Cordova, allowing commuters to easily access the Capital of California. In terms of recreation, Rancho Cordova is near the Mather Golf Course. It also has a drive-in theatre, roller-skating rink, three water parks, a children's museum and a host of fine art on display at the City Hall. You will not run out of things to do in this town!

Located in scenic central California, Rancho Cordova is close to Sacramento, but enough out of the city to maintain a less crowded atmosphere. There are a wide variety of beautiful houses in the city with one and two story single-family homes available throughout the area. Some of these homes take advantage of the bright sun and have large open floor plans with large windows. At the northern edge of Rancho Cordova is the Gold River neighborhood, which is where some of the most exclusive homes are located.
