The city is known for its award-winning recreation facilities. The "Rec-Plex" is located in Saint Peters, and it recently underwent a multi-million dollar expansion. This facility provides family recreation and athletic training. During 2004, the Rec-Plex hosted the 2004 Olympic Diving Trials. Today, it is one of the premier diving facilities throughout the country. In addition to Rec-Plex, there are several large parks in the city. Many of them provide walking trails, sporting facilities, playgrounds, golf courses, fishing, and nature. City residents and visitors spend time in these parks all year long, even during the cold weather.

Saint Peters, Missouri is the 10th largest city in the state and has a population of over 52,000 people. During 2006, Money magazine named this place as the 60th best place to live in the country and the top city in the state. For this reason, it is an attractive destination for today's homebuyers.
