Somerset, Kentucky, is located near the northeastern edge of Lake Cumberland in south central Kentucky. The area was first settled in the late 1700s, and that history still shines through in the community. When you start looking at homes, you'll find Colonials, Cape Cods, traditional ranches, and old farmhouses. You'll notice that a lot of the homes are on large plots of land that give a sense of privacy, but there are some homes in more traditional neighborhood settings.
