Union City is located in the northwestern area of Georgia, 15 minutes away from Atlanta and just 10 miles from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). Ronald Bridges Park features a public nature trail, outdoor exercise equipment and a youth athletic program. The city sponsors programming for local children through its parks and recreation division, and these programs take place in the public parks. Residents also enjoy an annual arts and crafts festival.
