This mobile real estate search “App” enables iPhone or iPod Touch users to quickly find nearby homes for sale or for rent. It offers fast and full-featured searches of Homes.com listings nationwide. Q. Where can I get the Homes.com App? How much is it?

It’s FREE and can be downloaded from the Apple iTunes App store. Click the App Store Icon above to download it now.

Q. What are the Homes.com Real Estate Search App’s key features?

The Homes.com application has features not found in other mobile real estate applications such as the Homes.com “grid view” feature that improves selection of closely clustered properties displayed on a map.

Q. What devices does the Homes.com App work with?

Apple iPhone and iPhone3G, iPod Touch. The Homes.com App requires the 2.0 software update.

Q. How do I search for homes near me?

On the start up screen, tap Nearby Homes For Sale to display homes for sale in your area based on your current location. You can also search homes for rent by tapping Nearby Homes For Rent.

Q. How do I search for homes in another location?

On the start up screen, tap Advanced Home Search. On the next screen, enter your search criteria within the fields of interest to narrow your search. The location field is the only field required to perform your advanced search. Once you have entered your search criteria, scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap search.

Q. Why is this home displayed without a photo?

Although recommended, not all agents submit photos to Homes.com for their listings.

Q. How do I see more photos?

Once you have chosen a home to view, on the details screen, look for the camera icon displayed beneath the picture of the home. This icon shows the number of photos for this home. Tap the camera icon to view available photos.

Q. Why doesn't Homes.com display all of the listings in my area?

The Homes.com iPhone search application is only permitted to display properties that are active on Homes.com. We are currently working on securing more listing data for mobile access.

Q. When I search by MLS number, no results are displayed?

Homes that are not found on Homes.com, will not show up when searching by MLS number. This does not mean that you are searching an invalid MLS number; however, the home may not be currently listed on Homes.com.

Q. How do I get my home listed on Homes.com?

If your home is not currently featured on the Homes.com iPhone search application and you're interested in adding it, you can contact us here.

Q. Why does Homes.com display listings that are out of date?

Homes.com displays the most current data available from the listing source. The Homes.com iPhone search application is updated every 24 hours. Any updates made to your local MLS will be updated on the Homes.com iPhone search application.

Q. How do I find my home on a map?

On the detail screen, locate the arrow in the upper right hand corner of the screen and select it. In the new window, select the View on Map button. Your home will be represented by the house icon on the map. By tapping on the house icon, you can display further details on your home. To get back to the details screen, simply tap the details button in the upper left hand corner.

Q. Why can't I go back to my search results after I've reached the driving directions screen?

Driving directions on the Homes.com iPhone search application are provided by Google. Therefore, when you tap the "directions" icon, you have exited the search application. You will have to perform another search in order to access your search results.

Q. How do I contact someone regarding the home I just found?

On the detail screen, simply scroll to the bottom of the screen to the agent contact information. Tap on the phone number or email address to contact the agent instantly.
