The cost to rebuild the wall and fix the pool back as it was will be about $22,000, according to estimates we have (that is the highest estimate). The house is on a slight hill, so there was no other flooding issue. There was just so much rain that the water built up behind the wall overwhelmed the drainage system. Some water was pushed into the garage, but nothing in the house, and the crawl space was fine, according to a contractor who inspected it. The interior is in good shape. The kitchen has been updated with granite, stainless steel. Lots of hardwood floors. Carpet needs to be replaced, and some secondary bathroom fixtures probably need to be updated. House shows well. I've noticed some spots of wood rot on some of the window trim outside, and a crack in the masonry over the front window that has been there since before these clients bought the house.
