Credit scores can vary from bank to bank as to what they want to work with. Some are going into the low 600's but generally they want to see 680 . There are always exceptions. VA, FHA and conventional will also change the level potentially.

Hey Maria, Credit score is important, however the fact that you are relocating is probably going to be your biggest issue. If you own your own business or are employed, lenders want to see that the stable job history will be able to transfer down. If you want, give me a call to discuss further.

The credit scores need to be at least 600 in order to qualify for an FHA mortgage. In some cases, they will use a slightly lower score, depending on the circumstances. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks again Bethanne Baer 407-228-1112

Our mortgage partner can do an FHA with as low as a 580 score and a conventional loan with a 540.
