John, I have a brochure made up that shows you the steps from Fiancing to closing of a home. This would include, knowing your credit score and the bank that I recommend, helps restore credit for free. Jen J 317-501-2103 jenj@callcarpenter.com

If you don't already know a loan officer with a bank mortgage company, ask any of your friends/family/co-workers who own a home who they used for their mortgage and if they would recommend a good loan officer. Depending on how many names you get, call 3 or 4 of them, explain your situation and ask if the loan officer would be willing to put you on the right path with instructions for rebuilding your credit to purchase a home. In return for their help, when the time comes, you agree to work with them for your mortgage. Good luck.
