Hello Susan, Please visit the local newspaper and online FSBO sites to find the one or two for-sale-by-owner properties in the TO area. They tend to be over-priced and the sellers are expecting the Buyer to be prequalified prior to accepting an offer. Since they do not typically a sales commission, they expect to put the savings in THEIR pocket, not yours! If you need seller financing, you will typically also need a significant down payment, approx 20% or more, depending on the seller's terms. I hope this information is useful.
