My husband and I own a property and we do our financial affairs together; however, is it possible for me to purchase a home on my own?

Yes, you can purchase a home on your own, if you qualify for financing based on your income, credit & down payment. However some states are community property states, so it's best to check with your state laws or real estate attorney.
