Who lists the properties on this site and who is the agent named on the listings? Is it the seller's agent? If so, buyers should get an agent, right?
Answers
The listings are uploaded from various Multiple Listing Sites,so the named agent on each listing is the Seller's agent. Listing agents can also represent the Buyer, and they become an intermediary when they represent both the Buyer and the Seller. You can also have an agent represent you in the transaction if you do not feel comfortable with the intermediary arrangement.

Julie: It seems that you got your answer....the selling agent is the one that list the properties and represent the seller; the buyer has the option to get his/her own agent to represent him/her in the transaction as Lynda Escalante answered you. Sometimes it makes the buyer more confident in knowing that he/she has an agent to look after the buyer and not the seller. Also, the seller is the one that pays the buyer's agent. :)
The listing agent is the selling agent and I would recommend using a different agent to help you work any property you are interested in.
