The first step to buying a home is applying for financing. To find a lender, your Realtor can reccomend one or you may have one that you already had in mind. After you have that pre-approval letter in hand and know what dollar amount you're working with, then you can start looking at homes. One of the benefits of being a buyer is that when you work with a Realtor, the seller typically pays their commission, not you. You get all the benefits of working with a knowledgeable Realtor without that added concern during the process. Please feel free to call or email me with any other questions or if you'd like to get the ball rolling! Laura Harris-Hodges, Broker.
