My family and I are looking for a long term rental. Would the owner perhaps settle for a pet deposit instead of a monthly addition to price?

Why not consider buying a house in this area through a 100% no money down USDA loan? with rates today your base payment on 200k would be under one thousand a month with no money down.

Yes the Landlord has the option to set the terms of the rental. If it is not offered you can always ask if they would conside it. I also handle rentals so let me know if you need any help.
