I hope that you have found a good Buyer's agent that will make appointments and show you the interiors. If you still need a referral please feel free to contact me for a referral as I have worked with many good agents in that area. Make sure that you spend the time to look into the health department records if it is on a well and septic as well as having a good home inspection done.
Most properties are available to view from the inside unless there are safety concerns, or some other circumstances prohibiting entry. If you see a property that you would like more information, contact a local Realtor for access. Good Luck!
Hi Sherin, you should be able to view a foreclosed property as you would any other that is on the market unless there are special circumstances. I encourage you to do all your homework that means get as much information as possible no matter what property you are interested in. DO ALL your inspections. In my opinion being realistic with the number of days to close is just as important especially if you are leaving a property to move into a new home. I normally recommend at least 45 days but plan on 60 just in case there are issues with the title..etc.
All the Best,
Thomas Green, Realtor
Sure thing. Almost all foreclosures are available for interior viewing & inspection with the help of a local realtor. Hook up with one agent to represent you & they can show you any & all properties. Gene Hammonds, Highland Lakes Real Estate, Lago Vista, TX
Sherin,
Did you ever connect with a Realtor? We are all left to wonder if our answers even helped out anyone. Contact me dirrectly or post on here, what happened. Thanks.
Let me suggest getting with a Realtor to assist you. My buyers can certainly examine homes from the outside but it's the inside that makes the difference. There's not much to see looking in windows. You would be surprised at how different these destressed homes are once you get in. Get with a Realtor. Thanks
Hi Sherin, Only a few foreclosure on the market will restrict interior access. This is usually because of significant safety concerns due to physical structure hazards or environmental dangers (toxic mold). Even then, the seller often provides a waiver that must be signed before the listing agent will allow lockbox access. I look forward to serving you in this important endeavor. Feel free to call me any time with your question or service requests. All the best, Joe McAvoy
Hello Sherin, Any realtor with active membership in the local MLS, Multiple Listing Service, has access to the electronic door boxes and will be able to help you preview the homes. A realtor will also prepare a CMA, Customized Market Analysis, for every home that you preview and advise you if the home is priced correctly. Interview a few local realtors and hire the one that you feel most comfortable with. Buyer representation is paid by the listing broker out of the commission paid by the seller (bank in case of the foreclosure) and is essentially free to you, the purchaser. Feel free to contact me directly if you have additional questions. Best Regards, Vivianne Rutkowski KELLER WILLIAMS REALTY
Sherin,
A Realtor is able to take you to all homes you are interested in. Contact me and i will set us up to see some places. I can first email you homes and you can pick through them. Thanks and let me know how to help.
Yes, you are able to see the inside of a foreclosed property once it has been put on the market for sale through a realty company. Sometimes it can take a while from the time the foreclosure takes place to the time it is actually put on the market for sale, but once it is, a licensed agent will able to get you inside. Take care, Angie Harrington, Reliance Realty, Inc.
Sherin, Yes you can see the inside of most listed foreclosures but the only way to get access is by going through a licensed real estate agent. Feel free to email me with what you are looking for and I'd be happy to run a search of local foreclosure for you and let you know what's out there.. Thanks David Caggiano of Caggiano Realty Group
