before you spend a lot of money on another search, you can work with an agent to find foreclosures in your area or go to the HUDhomestore for government foreclosures. Many foreclosures may be under contract very quickly because they are priced for quick sell. Even though they are tied up under contract they are not removed until the sale has closed escrow in case something happens. The process itself can take a little longer with some foreclosures.

There are foreclosures and short sales. Are you looking to purchase or find out more information on foreclosures?
Albert I get lists from the title companies once a week. But the question I have to ask, is do you think you can get a better deal on the court house steps than buying a short sale or a bank owned (REO). There are some great deal as investors are out in force buying right now in Portland. I am in multiple offers on some of these homes that sold for $225,000 for sale now at $125,000. Give me a call and lets talk.
My website has an option to request a foreclosure list. When I respond to a request for a list, I go to the foreclosures CURRENTLY listed as active listings only. It only wastes everyone's time to get outdated information. That being said, the status of a listing can change anytime, so if you see a house you are interested in, you should call a real estate agent immediately to show you the house. It may not be on the market long, if it's a good one.

Hello Albert,
I have not heard anything to that effect, but our Foreclosures are run by a different company who feeds us that information. It is my understanding that they do refresh their feed to us on a regular basis. If you would like to contact them, their name is Realty Store and their phone number is 866*459*0692. Please feel free to contact us directly with any questions!
