Hi Sean, there is a downturn in the market just like the rest of the world. But, there are certain areas of USA that are high turnover tourist spots. This means that you can buy a property and use it as a vacation rental property which will bring you a much higher income than a regular rent income while the market is turning back upward. Please make sure you use a Realtor who knows about this thing. I am originally from UK too and moved here 10 years ago. Sean -- Investing in South Florida real estate at this time (2012) is probably one of the smartest things an investor can do. Downtown Miami is set to develop a 3 BILLION dollar project expected to be completed by the year 2020 - "Resorts World Miami"
