Mike, Get with me, I will email you and give you all the contact information for a loan officer, that is great with VA loan's. I just closed a VA loan last week and the interest rate was 3.87%, so there is not much lower out there. I know your busy and it is hard to get online, while deployed, but if we get the pre-qual done before you get home, then we can jump out there and find the perfect place for you, Let me know and God Speed.

Hi Mike, Thanks for choosing to serve our country. My father was in the Army over 30 years and retired at Fort Lewis, Washington. Each year here in Hampton Roads I help dozens of servicemen and women buy their first homes. I keep my buyer clients informed every step of the way and never rest until you have found and purchased the home that is meant for you. The VA lenders I recommend offer the most competitive rates and terms available. I look forward to serving you in this important endeavor. Feel free to contact me any time with questions or service requests. All the best, Joe McAvoy

Mike, I wish you God speed on getting back here, to the real world. As a 12 year Army vet, I do understand the stress of being deployed and wanting to take care of issues back home. Our Team does 90% of it's business with military families and we have a line of professionals to help make this a stress free process. The mortgage loan officer I deal with, "really" gives my VA buyers a great deal. Contact me and I will forward his information to you and you can get a pre-qual letter, then I will email you homes that match your requirements. When you come home, we let you rest a couple days, then we can look at some homes of your choice. Again God Speed, stay safe and contact me to get started.

Utilizing your VA eligibility is a fantastic way to finance your first home. No down payment is required and there is no monthly mortgage insurance required. Interest rates are at an all time low and there is plenty of inventory to choose from. Sellers are willing to pay the buyers closing costs in most instances so the time to buy is now. We're also seeing an increase in sales activity signifying the bottom of the real estate market may have been found. Email me if you'd like to get pre qualified. That's your first step in this process.

First things first - Thank you for your service! As a retired Navy Veteran, I can appreciate your situation and sacrifice. I'm happy any time I can help another service member and his/her family find a house they can be proud to call home. Don't worry about obtaining your VA Eligibility over the web or direct from VA. Any lender doing VA loans can get that for you these days and are happy to do so. Your first step though should be to contact a lender to get your pre-approval. This is very important so that you know what price range you should be looking in. You don't want to look at $200,000 homes and later find out that you'll only qualify for $180,000! I work with a lender frequently who has been in the business for over 18 years. She knows what she's doing and she's very customer service oriented. If you would like her contact info, email/call me and I'll send it to you. I'll also need to know what type of home you are looking for and where specifically you might want to live (Va Beach, Ches, Norf)? The more specific the better so I can get a search set up for you that will match what you want. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi and thanks for your service. I am sure you have been referred to the website regarding VA benefits. Your biggest concern right now should be matching up with a reputable lender such as Navy Federal or other local lenders who will guide you through the process and have your needs in mind. They will make sure you are "on-track" before starting your home search. Don't forget to visit my website and ask about my Veterans Program which will help you with buying expenses. Best wishes, Dennis

You will need a Certificate of Eligibility from the VA, you can apply for this on the VA web site or a lender can handle that for you when you pre-qualify for a loan. This can all be done before you return. If you would like to set up a personalized search for homes we can do that so homes that fit your criteria will b emailed to you as they come available. Email me for more information Tom Sams USN retired
