If you need any assistance let me know. You shouldn't have any trouble finding a home for rent but it might take a little longer with 3 dogs. I can get you in touch with a property manager if you are still having trouble finding a home to rent. Thanks

The market is full of rentals and at least half of them will allow pets with an additional fee. My wife has a 3 bed 2 bath town home for rent, in Virginia Beach and close to Little Creek base, which the owner allows pets. Contact me and I will give you her info. Thanks.

Hi Anna, Many properties allow pets. With 3 pets, most owners will require a non-refundable pet fee along with your security deposit. I have a rental home in Virginia Beach with owners allowing 3 pets. This home will be available March 1st. Contact me for more information. Best Wishes, Kathy

Hi Anna, I regularly help German NATO families find rentals, and about 3/4's of them have pets. THREE dogs is pretty difficult, but not impossible. There are three different ways a landlord/property manager can handle pets: 1) a refundable security deposit for each one (amount depends on size of dog, in my experience; 2) a non-refundable "fee"; or 3) a monthly pet rent in addition to the regular rent. If you have good credit, you are better able to persuade a prospective landlord/pm of your desirability as a renter, naturally. While not public on-line, our MLS listings DO categorize listings whether they are pet-friendly or not, and if you contact me what cities you are interested in, how many bedrooms, and any other details, I can send you a list of available properties that are open to pets. There are some landlords that will allow pets. The rental office at Judy Boone Realty can help you find a great rental that will accept pets. Hope this helps. Thanks, Rob

Hi, There are rentals that will allow pets usually with pet deposits. Pet deposits can run between $200-$300 per case depending on the landlord. It's always better to buy so you don't have to deal with the restrictions. Let me know if I can help. With rates under 4%, you can buy cheaper than you can rent.

Depending on the typ of dogs they are, some rentals with a yard will allow it.

Certainly can be difficult, depending on their breed, but not impossible! Anticipate having to pay non-refundable deposits starting from $300 and up, plus extra rent fees of $25 or more per dog per month. Feel free to visit my website for property listings, or contact me directly for specific information. Best wishes!

It depends on the location and type of proprty. If you are looking in a more rural area and single family residence (as opposed to duplex or apartment), pets may be more welcome. Be warned, there will usually be a "non-refundable pet fee" and a deposit for each one. You may have better luck with a private owner rental-but cover all bases. Pet deposits and fees, like most other things, are negotiable. Please let me know if I can help!
