we're looking for a nice place to move our family; taxes $5K or less; home prices around $200K; and a 45 minute or less commute to Norristown Pa...

Anyone have any ideas? We'd like a more suburban - rural feel, not houses right on top of each other. Thanks!

Collegeville area is great, but for $200K would probably be a townhouse. Gilbertsville area more rural, cheaper, but a descent commute during rush hours.

There are a lot of choices within your stated needs. Depending on how large of a home you need, there are many homes in Chester County just west and slightly north of Norristown that would fit that description.
