The first step is getting pre-qualifed if you haven't done so already. This will tell you the payment and price range that you want to stay in. It will also tell you if you have anything on your credit that you aren't aware of. Most often times we can afford around 3 times our salary and the payment, depending on how much you want to put down, will be about 1% of the purchase price give or take a 100 dollars depending on the rate. New Braunfels is a great little town, and there are great homes available that fit the criteria you've given - I just did a search and 163 homes fit that criteria. Give me a call or email me so we can further specify your search criteria. The results will be more manageable. Thanks.
