Try going to google to check out their website. Almost all associations set sites up these days and you should be able to find everything there. It's the easier way to get the information you need. Good Luck!

If you're lucky the Condo association will have a website with the pdf files right there. Try calling them and asking them if there is a website. If they don't have a website then you can go to the Clerk of the County's website and put in the condo association's legal name and find the documents there. It will take you some time but you should be able to see the complete set of Declaration and any amendments, too.

Condo rules and regulations are the property of the association or owners. Calling the HOA or property management company may not give you the information because you are not an owner. Some associations have a website where you can view the cc&Rs. Otherwise call a listing agent in the complex or ask an owner.

The people living in the community are a good source of information; If you are able to get into the community and people are outside, just talk to them. Not only will they let you know what life is like in the community but they can also give you an idea of the rules - regulations - and restrictions. Once you decide where you want to be, and have a contract, you will get a copy of all the condo docs. You will have a few days to review and accept them, if you don't like the something in the documents, you can cancel the contract. Of course you can always call a Realtor who will be able to help you with this and get you into the communities. I hope this helped you.

That's a really good question. All condo owners have their own "booklets" of the condo documents, so if you know any of the owners- just ask them if you can borrow them for a bit. Also, any of the ones that are for sale, will have a LISTING agent who handles the sale for the owners. That agent would also have a copy. If neither of those helps - call the condo association or the property mgt company that takes care of that particular condo and ask them for it.

All association documents are recorded and can be found at the county's clerk of court. After a little searching, you may want your Realtor to do the research for you. Your Realtor will be able to find who the property management company is for a particular community and get additional information through them. Hope that helps.

Association docs are recorded. It will take you a long time in the administration building to figure them out with all the amendments and so forth. In some cases the Association has a website and publishes the docs for download. Just let your real estate professional handle the papers. In case, the condo docs are part of a purchase contract anyway.

If you have a Realtor, then they can get you the contact info or direct information extremely easy. =) Otherwise, you may need to do a little digging. Like Danielle said below, you can use a search engine like google to figure out what association handles the property and search for the phone number. Feel free to call or email me for a quick response. =) Have a Great Day and Good Luck!

Have you tried googling the association? Many times their website can be found online or at least a phone number to verify rules, regs and fees
