A townhouse in a golf community might meet your needs. Generally townhouses have no maintenance and if it is in a golf course community, there is usually a club house with the exercise room you are looking for. Guntersville, Alabama has a community called Gunter's Landing. The townhouses are beautiful and the amenities are wonderful.

Sounds like a Condo would be your best bet. The market is full of them, but you have to watch out because recently all condo's have lost their FHA certification. Many have submitted their re-cert paperwork and some have been approved, but if you are a FHA or VA buyer, you may not be able to purchase it. Connect with a local Realtor and they can do all the leg work for you and make sure your not wasting time. Good Luck and thanks for the question.

Branson, MO and the surrounding communities comprising the Tri-Lakes area have many options for maintenance-free living. If you haven't been here yet, I would highly recommend a visit this Spring. The Ozark hills will be in bloom, our famous live music & stage productions will be opening for the season and our THREE lakes will be ready to enjoy for fishing, swimming, watercrafts - big boating community. Branson will be celebrating its 100th birthday in 2012, so a festive time to visit. Check out ExploreBranson and FlyBranson. Since we're located in the southern most part of Missouri, near the Arkansas border, our seasons are mild making it a great place to live or visit all year round.
