As long as there was no misrepresentation of facts regarding the condition of the property, once the transaction is closed repairs belong to the new owner. I always encourage my sellers and new buyers to put a 1 year home warranty in place.
ASK YOU REAL ESTATE ATTORNEY. NORMALLY YOU ARE DONE AT CLOSING UNLESS YOU MISSED REPRESENTED SOMETHING. YOUR ATTORNEY ADVICE WILL BE THE BEST.
Call your attorney. He/She will be able to tell you what your state's laws are in regards to home repairs after closing.
That all depends if you followed the disclosure law in your state. Contact a real estate attorney
Though this is a better question for your Real Estate attorney, precedence dictates the new owner would be responsible. However, whether by design or ignorance, if a home problem arises after closing in this sue happy world, a new owner could always make trouble for you. The use of a seasoned full-time agent and Real Estate attorney in a tranaction best protects you from harm's way.
Hi Joe, If a property condition disclosure was signed and was falsefied-you would be responsible. However most attorneys will advise clients to give the $500.00 at closing- your responsibility ends when you close title.
It is highly recommended that the buyer purchase a home warranty which is normally good for one year. As long as you disclose all of repairs needed that you know of on the sales contract that normally covers you from any responsibility.
If there were items that were requested from the buyers that you "fixed" and are not working properly, you should make them right. Other than that, as soon as the home closes, it is their home.
Once the home is closed, any new repair issues are now the New HOme Owners.
Depends on what is stated in the contract and if you agreed to the terms in that contract.

you're not responsible unless you failed to disclose a known defect.
