My husband and I need a morgage lender to help us with purchasing a new home when we move to south jersey in a few mths.

We have a crdit score of 569. We have some issues with Debt that we have been in the process of correcting. We qualify for a VA loan. We will appreciate any help with getting in touch with a lender in the gloucester county area, thats where we would love to purchase. Any ideas on how to boost our score as fast as possible will be great. We are dedicated on buying in this year thank you.

Hi Mathieu, I'd be happy to help - I am an expert at credit repair, and also have several lending options for VA loans with lower FICO scores. As your credit scores go up, so does the flexibility in debt/income ratios, so usually working on one area will help with the other. I would have no problem helping you through the process and toward your goal of buying this year.

Mathieu, It is best to contact a professional Realtor in your area for a referral to a reputable and experienced lender. Realtors deal with many types of people in different financial situations and know which lenders are best at certain types of loans. - Jenn Smith

Contact a reputable VA lender in you area. Let them know that you are looking for a lender with the heart of a teacher who will walk you through the process. They can show you how to raise your credit standing to get the best interest rate.

My office has a list of mortgage lenders that would be able to help you. You may want to consult a financial institution to help you get ideas on how to increase your credit score. Please know that these things take time and it may be in your best interest to wait for your home purchase. Qualifying for a VA loan will help your situation. Thank you for your service to our country.
