Hi Lynda, For sale by owner means that the seller is representing herself/himself in the real estate transaction. Many seller will allow you to have representation by a realtor, which I suggest any homebuyer take advantage of. Almost always there is no cost to you for representation, in fact, I have never had a buyer pay any fees to me or to my brokerage. Give me a call and lets talk about your options.
