New construction done in 60days. Just signed purchase agreement. when do I need to give them my lender info? They have preapproval letter.

They want it by next week. I want to wait to apply w/ my preferred lender for my credit report to update. big difference. Contract says need lender info and requirements met 10 days prior to closing date. I realize they want it ASAP to know I won't back out. Am I okay telling them to wait a month? Its a townhome

I would get working with your bank now to provide all the information and get your loan moving. It usually takes your bank 30 to 45 days to get your loan processed. Better sooner than later.

Are you working on your credit? If your credit score is already good its not going to expired for 90 days. You can start the process right now so you can close on time.

If you have already signed the contract like you stated I would refer to what was agreed upon in the contract. If you choose not to abide by that you could be considered in breach of contract. I would talk to your Realtor® if one is involved otherwise you might consider consulting with your attorney.
