In Flint, Michigan we also have cheap homes under $10,000. Some of the homes are in need of extensive work while others are in deteriorating neighborhoods. The conditions of the homes vary from cosmetics to full rehab. You can purchase these homes for cash, and generally, there are no restrictions on occupancy. Check with the local municipality to verify the home is not condemned or slated for demo before purchasing. The reason for the low price is also based on employment opportunities and the fact the city is still overbuilt for its population.

This house may be in a revitalization area and may require total rehab. If it is a single family home it may be more economical to tear it down and start from scratch

Use the Local Pros tab and contact a local agent searching by zip code. They can pull the listing and provide the information you want.
