I put a a bided on a foreclosure house, at the end of the upset period can I ask the owners to leave or do I have to wait for closing?

I bid on a house and the upset period ends tomorrow, I'm still the top and only bidder, if I win the bid can I ask the owners to leave once the upset period is over or do I have to wait for closing?

You ask them to leave after you are the owner.

You have to wait for closing even though you are the highest bidder the home isn't yours until you sign the deed and the forms necessary to make it yours. If they are still in there after you close the sheriff will personally kick the owners out. Also keep in mind they may have a redemption period so it could be a couple months until you fully get possession of the property.
