About: I’ve worked in real estate in Carteret & Onslow counties since my heels first hit the North Carolina sand in 1977. I’m a 2nd generation Californian, but my husband Lee convinced me to give his hometown of Cedar Point a chance. I earned my NC salesman’s license in 1982, while working with Seashore Insurance & Real Estate in Swansboro. They’re gone, but I stayed, getting my broker’s license about 4 years later, continuing to list & sell properties in both Carteret and Onslow counties, and earning repeated awards for “Top Producer“ along the way. I have the experience and knowledge to help you navigate through our local real estate market and to make the most of your real estate experience. Call me and let me work for you!See More

So many ifs in your situation. Mortgage companies generally want to see a credit score of 600+, but if you're making enough off the sale of your home to put 20% or more down on a home here, they may consider lower scores. Generally they like to see steady employment for the last 2 years, but will also take into consideration job changes if you've stayed in the same field. If you buy, you might also consider homes other than foreclosures. There are some excellent deals to be had there also, and the homes have seen much better care than the foreclosures. Meanwhile, I'd be glad to send you regular updates on homes in the Hubert area so you can get a feel for the market before you come down.

Gina, your questions are best addressed directly to Bluewater's rental dept. The owners have just reduced this to $1575/month, which sounds like they really want to rent it ASAP. I doubt they would want to hold it until Jan 15th, but it certainly won't hurt to ask, and perhaps they'll know of something else coming up closer to that time. If you need their contact info, just let me know and I'll be glad help.

Sorry, but according to the MLS info, this is not pet friendly. I checked for others in the Swansboro & Hubert area that will allow pets - or at least are "negotiable" - and the least expensive I found was $650. If you'd like more information on these, or would like to receive e-mail updates from our MLS as soon as new listings pop up, just let me know. I'd be glad to help.

Checked out the MLS info on this home, and it has been rented. Unsure why Homes. com has not updated their info on this, but if it's any consolation, they did not allow pets.

In answer to: Are pets allowed on this property?
This property is listed in our MLS as not being Pet Friendly. However, I do have a pet friendly home in Hubert listed for $725/month. If you'd like more information on it, just click on the link below to my website, go to annual rentals, and you'll find it! If I can help with this one, or search for other pet friendly homes for you, please let me know.

I'd love to provide more information, but unfortunately there was no link to indicate which unit you're asking about. I work the Emerald Isle area, and am a member of both Carteret & Onslow county MLS's. Let me know which property you're interested it, and I'll get the information for you!

Just spoke with the builder/owner. Should have the room dimensions posted in the MLS within an hour. Already have lots of photos of the home posted, but this was over-looked. Just go to our website at www.BluewaterNC.com, click on Real Estate Sales, then enter the MLS #10-4093. Should take you right to it. If you'd like any more information, or have questions, just let me know! Christy @ Bluewater Real Estate Cell: 252-241-0123.

The particular home you were viewing does not included the land. However, the vast majority of the time, the land is included. Usually the price is a give-away, especially on the beach. You can also look at the MLS# for Carteret County listings. The MLS does not allow us to enter homes unless the property is included. Carteret MLS #s begin with the year 1st entered, so most of what you'll see now will have MLS#s beginning with 09-xxxx or 10-xxxx. If they're on leased land, there will usually be a # assigned by the office, like this one has #8503. Hope this helps, and if you want to search the Carteret County MLS listings (which will all have land included), you'll find a search option on my website, www.CarolinaCoastRealEstate.net.

Well it is right, kind of. You can't buy it for that, just rent. The listing agent is not in the Carteret MLS, but I checked the address in Realtor.com (sorry Homes.com!) and it identifies it as a rental for $2795. If I can help further in your search for a home at the beach, just let me know! Christy Crumpler @ Bluewater Real Estate
