The going rate in Fairfield is $1.00 per sqft up to 2,000 sqft if the home is in good shape and not a patio home. Above 2,000 sqft it all depends on the property and area. If done right and the home is in good condition in your neighborhood you shouuld be able to get between $1,800 - $2,000, no more though. Also, the best place to find a renter is at the DOD Housing Referral Network at http://www.dodreferral.com/index_mil.php . It's a free site and I've always had good results with tenants I've found from this site on my personal rentals around Travis AFB.
