Florida boasts great weather, sunny skies, and beautiful beaches. It is full of diverse cities, so where you want rent a home will vary depending on your needs. Some of the more affordable towns for families looking to rent are located centrally in the state and along the state's panhandle, with more expensive rentals to the south. Where rental prices are more expensive, there are a variety of choices for homes, including condominiums and single family homes.

Florida is split into several regions, each distinctly different. The Northwest Region of the state is its panhandle. It borders along the Emerald and Forgotten Coasts of the Gulf of Mexico. With Pensacola as its most well-known city, it has become a Navy hub for the region. The panhandle is subject to cooler average temperatures than the rest of Florida, and has a slightly different climate. Central Florida is split into three separate regions. It is the home to two of the state's most economically important cities, Orlando and Tampa. Orlando is home to one of the most famous theme parks in the world, Walt Disney World. There are two regions encompassed in the southern section of the state. Miami and Ft. Lauderdale are travel destinations and the home to the state's most popular beaches. Miami is known for its laid-back vibe and vibrant social scene. To the west is Fort Myers and Naples. Both are home to gorgeous beaches. Fort Myers is the economic center of the region, while Naples is known for its high end shopping and golf courses.
