Homes.com and REMAX Partnership Good News for Home Buyers/Sellers

On January 11, 2011 Homes.com announced a new advertising partnership with REMAX. The partnership follows a pilot program that ran in the Central Florida and Mid-Atlantic markets. The Homes.com-RE/MAX advertising pilot proved extremely beneficial for the REMAX agents in those markets, but more importantly it proved helpful for home buyers.

Based on the success of the pilot program, the partnership has now expanded to over 150,000 RE/MAX listings advertised on Homes.com.

What Does this Mean for You?

With partnerships like this, visitors to Homes.com will be able to search thousands more listings nationwide. This will once again be another way in which Homes.com is making the home search process easier than ever by providing a one-stop-shop location to search for homes for sale. In addition, if you are selling a home through REMAX your listing will be syndicated to Homes.com which has more than 5.5 million monthly visitors!

“We are excited to announce this landmark partnership with RE/MAX, one of the nation’s largest real estate franchises,” said Jason Doyle, vice president of Homes.com.  “With this partnership, we are also enhancing the consumer experience by streamlining the hand-off to industry-leading RE/MAX agents at the local level.”

Each of the REMAX listings will have a link back to the website where home buyers can view additional details about the property as well as the agent representing it.

So if you’re looking to buy or sell a home, remember that Homes.com is seeking out ways to simplify the home search process as well as put your home for sale listing in front of a larger pool of qualified prospects.
