Actor Simon Helberg, ultra-nerd aerospace engineer Howard Wolowitz on the CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory, upgraded from his Craftsman-style cottage in Los Angeles (hopefully it wasn’t with his mother), to Charlie Sheen’s Mediterranean mansion. It’s hard to see who’s “winning” here, Sheen made out with selling for a whopping $200,000profit, but Helberg scored a pretty nice piece of real estate. How nice you ask?
Well, Sheen the former Two and a Half Men star had a pretty nice house that he purchased with then-wife Brooke Mueller in 2007 for $2.575 million. Helberg reportedly purchased this pad for a cool $2.9 million this month. Built in 1927, the manor is just under 4,200-square-feet and features a restored interior with Bouquet Canyon stone flooring, capacious living room with trestle-style vaulted ceilings, formal dining room and a generous master suite. The home blends Mediterranean and Southwestern styles and has an oversized backyard and pool. We’re sure neighbors of the Los Feliz home are celebrating with scotch! 😉
We love Helberg’s new digs and hope his fellow Big Bang Theory cast mates Bernadette, Rajesh, Leonard, Sheldon and Penny will be throwing him a housewarming party real soon! (An invite can be sent my way!)
