Spring Color Spotlight: Pink

by Christine DemosMay 3, 2012

Our final color spotlight for spring is pink. The color can be used in many shades to bring a sensual and romantic feeling into the home. Its intense rosy-red color is an excellent choice for summer clothing, cosmetics and home décor.

Pink can really make a huge impact when done in a large manner; are you brave enough?

Not feeling those pink pieces? Perhaps subtle touches are more your style. Here are a few we love:

Decorating with pink can be tricky. You can always run the risk of being “too girly” if you don’t pick the right shade or pair with too many floral accessories. So when you are decorating with pink, think about some complementary colors and patterns for the room. Grey and white paired with pink can make for a very whimsical space, but magenta coupled with bold colors like yellow and green will liven up any place and be absolutely appropriate for spring!
