Fall is here and pumpkin spice everything will still be on everyone’s mind for the next few weeks. With that being said, cooler weather and heavier clothing will also be a staple this season. For those who can’t get enough of the sunshine and warm weather, these 8 cities get the most sunshine on average during the months of September, October, and November.

Macon, Georgia is famous for its beautiful scenery, historic roots and its many museums and cultural centers. This Southern town gets an average of 67% of sunshine every fall.

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is a fun and growing city. Although its NBA team is named the OKC Thunder, Oklahoma City gets an average of 68% of sunshine in the fall. This city also offers many things to do for sightseeing and exploring its wild west culture.

Salt Lake City, Utah has its share of snow-capped mountain peaks for those who love a good winter wonderland escape but for those who love the fall, Salt Lake City gets an average of 69% of sunshine.

San Diego, California this sunny city doesn’t disappoint, even in the fall. San Diego gets about 71% of sunshine so residents and visitors can do some California dreaming long after the summer!

Grand Junction, Colorado is a scenic city filled with mountain peaks, valleys and trails. This slope town gets an average of 72% of sunshine in the fall.

Albuquerque, New Mexico is a desert city and New Mexico’s largest city. Albuquerque is also a cultural melting pot infusing Pueblo and Spanish culture. This city has an average of 78% of sunshine in autumn.

Reno, Nevada is considered “the biggest little city in the world.” Despite its size, it gets a pretty big amount of sunshine in the fall averaging 81%.

Tuscon, Arizona gets the most sunshine in the fall at 86%. This desert town is home to a lot of cultures and the University of Arizona.
