The Nation’s Most Haunted Hotels

by Mahogany WaldonOctober 26, 2018

Remember that really creepy article that we did last year about the nation’s most haunted hotels? Of course, you do! If you’re geared up for some creepy adventures this fall, we’ve got you covered! Most of these places on the mentioned can be visited (if you dare), and others are private property (we are not encouraging you to trespass, but a car ride past the property could yield just as spooky).

Here’s a map pointing out all those creepy hotels and bed and breakfasts. There’s always something scary brewing in New Orleans, and Hollywood is home to some of the most notorious murder mysteries. Guess who also made the list? That’s right, Lizzie Borden, the young Massachusetts woman accused of murdering her father and stepmother with an axe in the 1800s. Her tale is so haunting that it became a child’s nursery rhyme (because of course, all nursery rhymes have a sinister history). This map is what nightmares are made of.

Depending on where you live, you might be close to one of these ghoulish sites. Have you had any scary encounters while you were traveling before? Do you live near an alleged haunted house? Is your home haunted? Let us know in the comments below! Enjoy your Halloween this year!
