Buena Park, California is home to over 80,000 residents. This city is located in the northwestern area of Orange County; however, it is considered part of the Los Angeles Metropolitan area. There are numerous homes scattered throughout the city. Many of the homes are older and were built in the 1950s and 1960s. There are also newer home developments, which are attractive to many homebuyers. Most of the homes are built on small lots, and there are many that look beautiful from both the outside and the inside.

The city is sometimes referred to as "The Center of the Southland." This nickname is often attributed to the numerous tourist attractions in Buena Park. Arguably the most popular attraction in Buena Park is Knott’s Berry Farm. This amusement park offers a variety of rides for children and adults of all ages. Knott’s also has a waterpark called Soak City. Along with these destinations, residents and tourists often like to visit the Medieval Times Dinner Show, Pirate’s Dinner Adventure Show, and the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum. Buena Park is also home to the Japanese Village and Deer Park. In addition to these popular tourist attractions, residents enjoy spending time at the Ralph R. Clark Regional Park.

Buena Park offers a central location, and is a convenient destination for both Los Angeles and Orange County residents. State route 91 runs through the city. The major Southern California freeway, Interstate 5, is also just south of the area. Beach Blvd, a popular street, also runs through the city. Most of the residents in the area utilize these transportation options to get to and from work. While the majority of people work in neighboring cities, there are a few top companies in the area including Leach, PepsiCo, ADP, and J.C. Penney. Furthermore, Buena Park has a variety of schools. The area is home to seven different school districts, which provide high quality education for younger residents. Buena Park also has one of the special California library districts. This library began during the early 1900s as a volunteer effort. Over the years, it grew dramatically. Today, the library has over 125,000 materials, and it is a popular destination for young children and adults. Many homeowners take great pride in this library and the other local attractions around the city. These enhance the value of their homes and make Buena Park a wonderful choice for homebuyers.
