Little Rock is the capital city of Arkansas and is comprised of 116.8 square miles. Quapaw Quarter is a historic section of the city that has more than 200 homes and buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Quapaw Quarter features large-scale historic antebellum and Victorian-style homes, as well as more recent Craftsman-style homes. Little Rock is made up of 49 neighborhoods, the largest of which is Capital View/Stifft's Station. In July of 2013, Kiplinger named Little Rock the #1 place to live of all metropolitan areas that have less than one million people.
